Exploring Faith and Life

About me

Hi, my name is Jackson Tran. I’m a second-generation Vietnamese American, born and raised in Southern California. I previously served as an Administrative Pastor at Coast Community Church, as well as an Associate Pastor at Echo Church.

I am currently praying about and working towards planting a church in Anaheim.

I hold a B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior from UC Irvine and an Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

I’m married to my beautiful wife, Lauren—we’ve been partners in life and ministry since 2014. Together, we’re raising three spirited daughters: Evelynn (7), Faith (4), and Charlotte (1).

By day, I work in cybersecurity. Outside of work, I enjoy reading theology and history, running as a hobby, eating good food, and reflecting on faith, culture, and identity.

This blog is a space where I hope to share from that intersection—offering thoughts shaped by Scripture, personal experience, and the unique journey of navigating life as a Vietnamese American Christian.
